“Behind Every Tree” is my exam project for 3D sound at sonic college. The game is about exploring a very small open world and experiencing the horror that I’ve placed throughout the world. The game uses ambisonics recordings for the ambiences, and the music is mixed in binaural via FB360. All sound is implemented using FMOD & Google’s Resonance Audio.
My responsibilities in this project were;
- Building the game using Unity 3D and C#
- Recording audio using ambisonics microphones
- Writing and mixing music for binaural output
- Implementing all the sound using FMOD and Google’s Resonance Audio
